Anjie Gu



Anjie Gu completed her BEng in Architectural Design (Art&Architecture) at the China Academy of Art (2010-2015), focusing on the research of vernacular original experimental architecture in today's China.

She finished her M.Arch/RIBA Part II at the Bartlett School of Architecture studying under Ricardo de Ostos and Isaie Bloch. (2015-2017) Her work investigates architecture in relationship to local culture and nature in different social context and integrates advanced digital designing tools with traditional crafts so to enable a balance between the historical and an imaginative progressive response. 

She has previously worked for CITIARC in Hangzhou, China, and currently is working as a Part II Designer at Heatherwick Studio.
